Project Overview
This project is intended to design and implement major
functionalities of the On-line Image Management System.
There are three system actors Photographer, Manager and Customer.
Customer: A Customer, before he/she can do anything, has to register
through the website providing a user id and password. Once registered, the customer can login to his account,
place orders for
images and view his order status and can download images that belong to him.
Photographer: A Photographer has the responsibility to upload images
to
the Website Image Repository to fulfill customer orders. Each customer
order is assigned to some photographer. The Photographer physically
captures the required picture using his camera and uploads it to the
Website Repository. Once the image is uploaded, the customer can see it
under his profile and download it to his own machine.
Manager: The system has a single manager who is responsible for
adding
new photographers to the system. He also views customer orders and
approves or rejects them. The moment an order is approved, a
photographer is assigned to fulfill that order. Also, once the order is
fulfilled, the manager can changed the order status and send invoice to
the customer.
