A Generic Field Matching Utility for Astronomical Images
This software is an example implementation of a generic filed matching algorithm designed to find corresponding astronomical sources in astronomical images even if field information is not provided.
The utility works by finding similar patterns in two the images, and provides a list of corresponding point spread functions.
The software is a command line utility:
AstroMatch [-switchs] image1 image2
Switches (optinal):
-v: alert on variable stars.
-kN: sets the K parameter.
-pN: sets the P paremeter.
