Project Proposal

Purpose:

To define the content and scope of your course project.

Requirements:

You are to give a brief description of the analysis or transformation you are implementing. Give several examples that illustrate the information computed by the analysis or the results of the transformation (in the latter case you'll want to describe the information that is used to drive the transformation).

Describe your approach for designing, implementing and testing your analysis or transformation. Describe what programming framework(s) you will be using and what you will be building from scratch.

Identify open questions you have that might prevent your project from succeeding. In particular, if you have requirements from other tools (e.g., your transformation needs an analysis or your analysis needs some capability from an analysis framework), please state those explicitly.

Due date:

The assignment is due on Nov. 26, before class. You should prepare a web-page that gives the above information and send me the URL. You should also prepare a short (15 minute) presentation outlining your project, plan, and problems you forsee.

To whatever extent possible, you should try to interact with other class members to iron out problems before Nov. 26. For example, if you have issues with FAUJ talk to Venkatesh.
